The Legacy

Chef Ute (1942-2017) - Loving Mother of 7 Children and 22 grandchildren, could be found in the kitchen of her family restaurant until 2015 at the Age of 73, still serving all her delicious dishes.

The Bavarian Noodle Company is a heartfelt celebration of family tradition, lovingly created to honor the legacy of a cherished mother and the flavors of home.

Brothers Rainer and Juergen, born in Mannheim, Germany, and their siblings moved to America in 1978 alongside their beloved Bavaria-born mother, Ute.

In 1980, Ute warmly opened a German and European restaurant in Lake George, New York, where she poured her heart into every dish. For nearly four decades, families and friends gathered there to enjoy her authentic specialties—especially her tender, homemade Bavarian-inspired Spaetzle, which quickly became a guest favorite and a symbol of comfort and joy.

Today, Rainer, a dedicated chef, and Juergen, a skilled marketing professional, proudly carry forward their mother's cherished recipe. They now bring Ute's famous Spaetzle to homes across the country as fresh-cooked, ready-to-eat noodles—prepared with the same care and love she always used.
